BUNZZ ALOO TUK WITH BABY POTATOES

BUNZZ Aloo Tuk with

Baby Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Baby potatoes
  • 1 tsp roasted Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp roasted Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Lukadong Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dry Mango powder (Amchur)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Salt
  • 2-3 cups Oil

Preparation

Step 1 : Wash and clean baby potatoes in enough water. Fry them for

just 7-8 minutes in all. Drain and allow to cool.

Step 2 : Smash each potato gently with the bottom of a small cup or a

potato masher.  Do it gently in order not to break them into pieces.

Step 3 : Mix all spice powders including salt in a bowl. Toss these smashed baby potatoes until well coated.

Step 4 : Deep fry the spiced potatoes in hot oil until golden and crisp.

Step 5 : Drain on paper towels and serve hot as a side, a starter or a Tea-time snack.  Enjoy!
